My Pull List
I’ve always had a love/hate relationship with comics. I love the stories, artwork and different interpretations of the characters, but I hate waiting for weeks to read the next issue. Which is why I sometimes wait a couple of months to catch up or just wait until a collection is released. With that said, here are the comics I’m in love/hate with.
- The Walking Dead – I didn’t start reading this until after I saw the first season of the show. I was so interested in what was going to happen next that I jumped into the series and have followed it ever since.
- Amazing Spider-Man – This is one of the first comics I started reading. I’d love to go back and start at the very beginning, but I don’t have the time (or the money) for that. I was a huge fan of the Spider-Island event that just finished up, and excited to see what happens with this series next.
- Justice League (New 52) – I was never a big reader of DC comics. I knew all about their heroes but never really bought into it. I used the ‘New 52′ reset to jump into not only Justin League, but also some of the Batman titles.
- Avengers: X-Sanctions – Started reading this as soon as it was released, seeing that it sets the stage for the upcoming AvX event.
- Kick-Ass 2 – Just like the Walking Dead, I started reading this after seeing the movie (Kick-Ass).
- Armstrong – although this is an online comic, I’m always waiting to see the next tale of Armstrong
