What You Shouldn’t Miss This Week 02/20/12
A little slow on movies and dvd releases this week, but some interesting comic books, and of course the newest in hand-held gaming!
Aquaman #6 comes out February 22nd. Aquaman? The super hero who is often considered the most useless of the Justice League’s ”Big Seven”? Yes, that one. So useless that in January he was the 10th most bought comic book, beat only by 9 other DC Comics’ books (that’s right, Aquaman out sold any other Marvel, Image of IDW books, and that’s saying something). Maybe it’s time to see what Geoff Johns, Ivan Reis and Joe Prado are bringing to “The King of the 7 Seas.”
Sex Pistols: The Graphic Novel comes out February 22nd from Omnibus Press. I have no idea if this is a good idea or not. The Sex Pistols were a force of Rock and Roll, whatever you think about them, they changed music: for better or worse.
The Playstation Vita makes its grand appearance in stores on February 22nd. Finally it’s here: “PS Vita revolutionizes the gaming experience with dual analog sticks, front and rear multi-touch pads, motion sensors, and front and rear cameras.”
You have to have a game to play on the PS Vita, why not go outside the box and pick up Touch My Katamari. It comes out the same day as the system, and should incorporate the new touch screen and pads to get use out of the new features.
